Tea Tree Oil:
Natural antiseptic and works for any purpose till now. I haven't found a person yet to confirm that he/she hates tea tree oil. It always works. Tea tree will relieve your gum pain and fight bacteria. Now these days you can also buy toothpaste which contains tea tree. For a better health of your mouth tea tree is essential.

Herbal Rinse:
Well we know that there is a argument about alcoholic and non alcoholic mouth wash . Some people will say they don't like it some will say they do. We really don't know the truth as Big manufacturer will not never bring out the truth.

But i can say above all those argument you can make your own home mouthwash. Sage makes a perfect mouthwash for gum disease.Add two tablespoons of the dried sage in one cup of boiling water. This can be used infusion during the day. Swish throughout the mouth for approximately thirty seconds. Add two teaspoons of dried thyme and raise the water to one and one-half cups of desired. Thyme acts as a natural antiseptic. It will help you to fight any bacteria inside the mouth.

Food Intake:
Avoid chocolates, alcohol or anything citric just before going to bed. These things accelerate your decay and damage faster than ordinary night. Even if you take them make sure you brush properly after that. Also rinse your mouth to flash out bacteria.Healthy diet is also essential for the health of your mouth. Vitamin C keeps away mouth disease like scurvy.

Technique of Brushing:
A dentist will suggest brush atleast twice a day. In The morning after breakfast and at night after dinner. Every time atleast for 2minutes. Change your Brush every three months.Massage the gumline along with your toothbrush to loosen and remove plaque. Increased circulation brings oxygen to your gums, leaving the region healthier and stronger.

Quit Smoking and On:
Smoking is found to be the root problem of most of the mouth oriented problems. Gum disease is also one of them. It also cause havoc to your tooth. If you don't believe it just simply look at the colour of it.Alcohol is another enemy of tooth and affected gum.Thought it thought to be killing bacteria but aftereffects is not good for gums.

Salt Water:
It is one of oldest going around for ages. It is antibacterial and works as a pain relief also. Sea salt also works better than the normal salt.

Citric Juice:
Citric juice like lemon juice will attack bacteria and will help. But dont keep it for long as it will damage in long term. It works same as alcohol after a longer period.

1 in 3 american adult suffers from gum disease or gingivitis. Hope you are not going to be one of them.
